Some background information:
A fire in a poor quarter of the UNESCO world heritage city of Valparaíso, Chile quickly got out of control and burned down 500 houses before it was "under control" on Saturday. On Sunday the fire broke out again and destroyed another up to 1600 houses. Thousands lost everything and help is under way but for many the situation was desperate even before. On Monday night there were still flames that could not be extinguished with the help of planes and helicopters.
