Bitcoin - Both Currency and Property.
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

neither as govt cant control bitcoin
currency and property is the domain of government if you give up and let them control and tax it

*facepalm* something being a currency or property doesn't mean it has to be controlled by a government, that's why Bitcoin is 'Decentralized'. And I do agree with OP but I think it's more like: currency, property, investment, stock
