Yeah, I just don't consider it fun to react with fellow bitcoiners that opted to attack me in spite of me not having one iota of a problem with any of them, some of which I've defended and donated to in the past. Pretty sad if you think about it.

All I want to say is that people make mistakes and others shouldn't be so quick to judge.  Calling for someone to be banned isn't the best way to handle a problem.  Think what you will about people but don't troll them and tell them they should be banned IMO.

Either the word does have a connotation that gives it meaning to call someone that word, or it has no meaning and thus it's nonsense to call someone that.

It does seem odd how many people keep arguing it has no meaning and yet ... it is used in a context with some meaning implied ...

As with any word in any language, it has some meaning ... and oddly enough that word's origin (when used as a derogatory term) is clear to anyone not trying to hide it's meaning.

Upon reading the latest posts on this thread, it's seems to me that it may be quite possible that I shouldn't have used it even in all caps.

I swear to you all that I'm not racist, but damn it, is it possible that something has ingrained in us white folk's psyche to use such a term at certain times, then try to justify its usage. I'm damn near in apology mode on this, all.

Is there another term I could use for such a person (no matter their race/creed/etc.) to express how I feel if such an event ever occurs in the future? For sure, when used, expressing a person's origin shouldn't be expressed - simply man or person would suffice.

I honestly hate the word hate, and despise the n- word, but truly felt the n- word in all caps considering the content was fine, but seriously now having second thoughts.
