So i got my antminer s1 today, it's from bitmaintech 180GH and it have 6 pin connector on it like this one from the picture

http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/antminer-s1-hashing-chips-sideways.jpg

And i have one chieftec power supply of 400W, and it says it can deliver 390w max combined. Here's the specs of power supply.

But as power supply have only one pci-e connector and antminer requires 2 i have one extension cable but extension cable have only 2 yellow wires and 3 black like this one.

But as antminer is requiring 2 pci-e connections and 350w power i was wondering will my power supply be able to power antminer? and can i use one pci-e connector from power supply and another from extension cable?

um that power supply is probably a no go

rail 1 has 14amps and the rail 2 has 15 amps

if im not mistaken you need about 16 amps per board or 32 amps per antminer s1 using 12V

No good.

The spec of 12v1 & 12v2 is 14 and 15 on that PSU.
Which is just a notch 1A above the required 28A.

A minimum safe bet is at least 17a per rail. Or 34a combined.

You could try to get by i was using enermax naxn 500 with 12v1 24a and 12v2 21a and boy the cables are so hot to the touch.

A word of wisdom for you... Spend some extra money and buy a Corsair CX500 (32A/456W) on the 12v rail which is perfect for a single Ant + overclocking headroom, can't beat it for $60 from Newegg.

Don't buy cheap on PSU's, clean steady power makes mining much easier when you don't have to worry about it being an issue.

I guess this is also no go since it outputs 15A. I can get some quality 900w codegen psu problem is im too anxious i waited for the machine more than 2 weeks, and for psu i need also to wait whole week to get it so i thought if i can put it to work with one of those 2 that i have with me right now.
