First of all, Cinni NEVER had any scam issues that AC/WC had to deal with.  This is in large part because both coins had premines.  AC had a hidden premine, and WC had an open premine.  Cinni had neither premine nor IPO.  Neither has the thread ever been filled with FUD or trolls - just read through it.

Cinni has the greatest chance of any PoS coin in existence right now to follow in the steps of BC and see gains of 10-20x.  I say this because there are only 15m total coins and it is the most fairly distributed PoW/PoS coin to date.  And I say this because it's community is great and thriving, the dev's are open and hard working, and many projects are being worked on behind the scenes by both the dev team and involved community members that will be revealed at the proper time.

There are big things in the future for Cinni, I strongly urge people to spend time reading the thread and learning more about Cinni, because when this ship leaves the station, it will be gone.

Well said

I picked up this coin because of the above plus more

Same here... got slammed on AC - ready to invest here!

Welcome.

Yes welcome!! I sold all my Asiacoin about 12 hours before it collapsed and put it into Cinni. I would've lost about $200. Not much but I hope better spent on Cinni. At least we can sleep tonight knowing that we won't wake up tomorrow and all our money's gone.

Wallet not compiling on Linux. Exact same problem as: https://bitcointa.lk/threads/cinni-developement-thread-and-updates.304950/page-4#post-6143240
Is there is any way to compile it? Thank you

Solved, to compile Cinnicoin on Linux you will need to:

Code:
mkdir build

Compile again and when the build.h error comes:

Code:
cp build/build.h src/

Then you will be able to compile Cinnicoin.

It works well, thanks. Also I had to comment out the windows build deps section
For building only cinnicoind headless you also need to do mkdir obj in the src directory

I get this now:

Code:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_system-mgw46-mt-sd-1_54
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_filesystem-mgw46-mt-sd-1_54
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_program_options-mgw46-mt-sd-1_54
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_thread-mgw46-mt-sd-1_54
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
In case this isn't answered yet:

Edit cinnicoin-qt.pro and change lines 23+24 to the following:
Code:
LIBS += -lboost_system -lboost_filesystem -lboost_program_options -lboost_thread
BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX=.1.54.0

Also make sure you have the boost library installed:
Code:
sudo apt-get install libboost1.54-all-dev

After that, run again "make" and you should have your CinniCoin-qt wallet in a blink.

WE ARE BAAACK!

http://cinnipool.co would like to apologize for the lengthy time that it was offline due to DDOS attack.  It is now back fully operational, and has just finished paying out over 1000 CINNI to workers who had submitted shares that were not yet paid out when the DDOS attack had begun.  All workers are currently completely caught up with the exception of Hirocoin, which is frozen, and will be paid out whenever the issues with it are resolved.

HA256 is now supported!

Come mine for CINNI with us:

stratum+tcp://stratum.cinnipool.co:3333 for Scrypt
stratum+tcp://stratum.cinnipool.co:5555 for SHA256
stratum+tcp://stratum.cinnipool.co:4444 for X11

and

stratum+tcp://stratum.cinnipool.co:2222 for "High Risk Scrypt coins"

Why mine for Cinnicoin?
Cinnicoin is a unique crypto. Some people see that, other people eventually will. With a total market cap of only 15 million coins, it means that every time there is a sizable quantity of BTC invested into Cinnicoin, that it's going to raise the value of all existing Cinnicoins. Mining here is an easy way to show to the world that you have committed your mining hardware to Cinnicoin - every day all the profits your hardware can get will be reinvested automatically right back into Cinnicoin.
This shows the world that every single day there will be an investment of BTC into Cinnicoin, which makes the coins that you're already holding that much more valuable. This pool represents the best way to help boost investor confidence in the Cinnicoin currrency as a whole.

What kind of daily profitability does this pool offer?
Over the next couple of days, these stats will be published daily. Historically this pool has done approximately 0.005 BTC/MH/day and that was before any of the recent changes.

What recent changes?
Cinnipool is not a singular effort. We have brought together a strong team of people to help ensure the success of Cinnicoin.
To determine the profitability of a coin we use custom algorhymic logic in combination with in-depth market evaluation, sell depth/activity forecasting and accounting of private investor demand.
What puts us in a league of our own is the private placement of mined coins. In order to maximize profits and minimize selling pressure on our mined coins, we have put together a private investor network through which we privately place many of the coins that we mine. While other multipools are stuck selling huge quantities of coins on exchanges, driving down the price of their unsold coins, our private network lets us place large quantities of coins for the best possible prices. This private placement enables us to generate more revenue from the coins that we mine than any other multipool

What is the best cinnimultipool (that has x11)?

Right now I think only cinnimultipool.com has it.

Cinnipool.co is currently being updated but it will have x11 when it is back online as well
Recommend me more good X11 coins that aren't currently frozenn and I'll have X11 up right away, lol

Paraflux - great work on getting www.cinnipool.co back up!

Everyone, I strongly endorse this multipool.  I mined there before the DDOS attack and I was seeing .005 BTC per MH/s (scrypt) like Para said in his comment.  Some very strong payouts + great & honest pool manager.

My miners are already pointed there.

We've paid out over 15,000 Cinnicoins so far (see the front page for the incrementing total) and you can easily check and see how many coins you've earned that haven't been paid out yet by clicking the 'My Worker' link on the page.

X11, SHA, Scrypt!

Nice job getting the pool back online! Now with personal hashrates too, looking good! Pointed my miners there right away.
My honest opinion after trying all of the multipools: http://cinnipool.co Best multipool for CINNI with best payouts.

It's gradual and organic, not hype and pump. It has very limited FUD and dump. CINNI is a good coin and I'm glad I'm invested in it.

Hi All

I've tried to install the wallet on ubuntu.

Code:
qmake
went fine

Code:
make
result in this:
Code:
cd /home/user/Desktop/Wallets/CinniCoin-master; /bin/sh share/genbuild.sh /home/user/Desktop/Wallets/CinniCoin-master/build/build.h
share/genbuild.sh: 33: share/genbuild.sh: cannot create /home/user/Desktop/Wallets/CinniCoin-master/build/build.h: Directory nonexistent
share/genbuild.sh: 34: share/genbuild.sh: cannot create /home/user/Desktop/Wallets/CinniCoin-master/build/build.h: Directory nonexistent
make: *** [/home/user/Desktop/Wallets/CinniCoin-master/build/build.h] Error 2
Other coins wallets never had this issue.
Any help?

Also, malware analysis of cinnicoin-qt confuse me:
https://malwr.com/analysis/OWFkOTI0MjQzNDcwNDE1YWE1OWE0MzUxMmM3YTA2N2Q/

Collects information to fingerprint the system (MachineGuid, DigitalProductId, SystemBiosDate)
Connects to an IRC server, possibly part of a botnet

Any comments on this?

Well there's no malicious code that i detected anyhow.. I diff'd Cinni with AsiaCoin just now, line by line.. nothing amiss with Cinni atm with respect to that particular premine.
