i knew there had to be a technical reason.  i've never had tx's take more than 30 seconds.

i am a solid supporter, and was just disappointed at today's attempt to send some cinni.

Copy the file wallet.dat(C:\Users\Your_User\AppData\Roaming\CinniCoin) in a safe place. Update your wallet. Synchronize your new wallet. Return the file wallet.dat(C:\Users\Your_User\AppData\Roaming\CinniCoin) back. Do not forget unlock your wallet. Profit

running wallet on debian, but not enough space on my VM.  have to deal with that first, then can copy the wallet out and back in.

One last question, what will happen my tx's sent on prior protocol?  will they return to me?  or will they go through, once i get my wallet upgraded to teh correct version?

It might not go back to twelve, and even if it does, there's not much of a spread between there where it is now. If you've got any significant amount and the price is *exactly* at twelve, you'll have to push the price back to get back in.

On the other hand, if there's enough liquidity to get out at 16 and it goes back to 9 then you might get back in again by 12.

i just noticed my debug.log was 5.2GB.   was that the reason for the updated wallet?  that's way bigger than any of my other coin's debug.log's.

WAYY bigger.

I think that is an important comparison. We often get caught up in the number of sats etc. without getting the intra-crypto trading price perspective.

can you open it?  it will prob be full of the repeated warnings/error messages.

Depends on whether you sent them before or after the hard fork at block 60k. most likely they will be sitting in your wallet after reindexing, so might get some nice stake shortly after if you keep yr wallet open Wink

tx with cinni are very fast, and should take less than 15-25 mins currently for 20 confirms.  this is because more people are moving cinni off exchanges to keep in wallet for stake.  so if the price goes up really high dont send all of it to the exchange, keep some in wallet and help network stay regular Wink

One of the reasons I like CINNI is that I don't feel like I'm in the mooneys or something. The BC thread was positively cult-like during the rise with everyone thinking it was the next Bitconi etc as all coin followers do. It may still do well, but so may a whole lot of others. At least this thread feels a bit more sedate while still constructive. The price development has also been healthy. It went to 19 then dropped back to above the previous low. Now it's on another push but not a manic coin-destroying pump like BC did.

That's all good stuff and should be maintained.

Lets get our coins off the exchanges and into wallets to get the network moving as it looks like there might be a good bit of traffic in this coin to come.

+10000 Smiley

my wallet is starting to reach point where it does 1-2 stakes every hour from Cinni i moved into wallets last week.  Set it up now with small amounts of cinni deposits (eg 10 Cinni) every couple of hours and then in 3 days each deposit will start to stake separately if you keep your wallet open all the time.  Each of these is another block/confirmation and adds up to a faster network for everyone Smiley

yeah, all my other cinni tx were very quick. like really, really quick.

i sent them at 11:30AM PDT today.  that after the hard fork?

hopefully they are still there, and not floating around somewhere trying to come back home.

yes, i do keep the wallet open for minting, 24/7
