What's up guys...I just wanted to start a thread to see how many people around here are local to me.  I'm from Southern California...  so far I have ran into a couple people here that live super close to me.   We are going to throw a big bash once BTC skyrockets again....which will most likely be sooner than later Grin

If you are from Southern California, drop by and say hi...

I'm from Northern California. I've met and dealt with a few people with BTC but no gatherings or parties, yet!

Where in SoCal are you located? I've been down there a few times this year for business/pleasure.

Orange County...where in Northern CA are you from?

sweet, i'm in orange county too. i hope you guys aren't super anarchists who are hell-bent on convincing everyone that your ideology is right and everyone else is wrong. that has been my experience with my limited bitcoin meetups at least. i don't mind bitching about the government, i just don't like arrogant extremism.

what's up man.  No definitely not super anarchist here...super disappointed with current government spending and decision making, but definitely don't consider myself a super anarchist..haha

where in OC are you? i'm more northbound, near cypress/GG/westminster. there is a bitcoin/anarchist group that meets around OC, but i'm not sure if i want to meet up with those people due to aforementioned reasons.

All over...I was born in Newps...but lived a long time downtown HB.  I wouldn't become part of an anarchist group (even if I shared their views), I am not into getting onto Federal watchlists...lol

never thought of that, but it's probably true that the FBI does follow those people  Cheesy

funny thing is, i remember seeing a guy wearing a beret at a meetup  Cheesy

well, in that case, i just want to make sure that i profess my undying love to my country, and its great bureaucratic government system. i'd also like to add that i am happy they are keeping me safe from all those terrorist countries that have been attacking us since 9/11.

Be careful, in a couple of years that statement will label you are terrorist with your suspicious activity. I am not joking here.

f the clips. i think they will win against golden state but i'm a laker fan all the way.

i'm calling clippers game 7, and if they end up facing memphis they will actually have a pretty good chance to make it to the finals.

I would love for Dallas to win it, but after losing game 4, I think they are in trouble...San Antonio is just too much of a well oiled machine.

I think Oklahoma has the best shot of knocking off Miami, but I don't know if they beat San Antonio either...and they probably won't even get past Memphis.

Miami beats San Antonio again in finals, is most likely outcome, but I would also love to see the Clips there.

i think san antonio can beat miami. miami has played into the finals for 3 consecutive years now, and lebron has played in the olympics in 2012 as well as wade.

even with the win in game 3, i considered dallas the underdog.. i don't think they'll win, but whatever.

I like Tim Duncan, and I like Popovich, but man, they have gotta be the ugliest team ever formed.   I really hope Dallas knocks them off...
