Hello all,
Does anyone have any tutorial step by step, how remote antminer from outside network?
So you can access your antminer s1 at anywhere anytime.
Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Not the best way but :

1. Let a computer online 24/7 on the same network as your antminer. (let's say it's computer A)
2. Install teamviewer on it.
3. Install teamviewer on the computer / smartphone you want to use for monitoring.

Take distant control of the computer in your network (computer A)
Open a web browser (on computer A) and type the IP of your antminer in it.

Understood ?

There also are better way using VPN boxes etc... but it's maybe a bit more complicated.

If you only have a single S1, you can simply forward port 80 to it from your router.  You might want to change the default password, though Wink

Is not a tutorial for the S1, but for your router (there are a plethora of them, so isn't easy to answer for a specific model): basically you should set a static IP for your S1 and open port 80 on that IP.

Public ip + port Wink

Basically you should type on your browser 12345678:xxxx (you should replace xxxx with the external port that you choose for the ant)

You just need to go to the webgui of your router (usually it's 192.168.1.1), then search for something called "port forwarding" or "virtual server".

If you're on a dynamic IP - Once forwarding is working, look into DNS for dynamic IP addresses, it is supported on some router firmware.  ie: mohacho.noip.com

ddns isn't mandatory if you can check your external IP outside your network, sometime is even dangerous, because it makes life easier to an attacker (it will know every time your IP)
