Just stop this. Every rise and fall is not because of China. Chinese investors have already sold most of their coins, and therefore any news from China won't be having any impact on the BTC exchange rates. |

Just stop this. Every rise and fall is not because of China. Chinese investors have already sold most of their coins, and therefore any news from China won't be having any impact on the BTC exchange rates. Ok... why people view about bitcoin rise or fall in price is so different? Some say that it's because of china other deny this.So what is the real reason ? who effect the price in your opinion? |

The recent fall (from $900 to $340) was solely due to Mt Gox. The prices recovered somewhat after plateauing at $340. The recovery was aided by the news from Amazon. So it recovered from $340 to $540, before sliding again on Mt Gox liquidation news. |

today price slipped little bit. But i am happy it is still near $500 range.

Yes $500 is a great improvement from the month that we have had so far. We are lacking some buy support right now above the $500 levels, so we may see some periods of sub-500 prices today if you are looking to add more to your holdings.

Sort of obvious for me. People decided it was a good time to buy. Simple as that really maybe based on news or they just think the price is fair and wanted to acquire some coin.

The Gox effect will not fade away that quickly. The volume of the coins stolen (850,000) makes it one of the biggest heists ever in the history of the Bitcoin. We don't know what Mark K will do with the stolen coins yet. So far we haven't seen any signs of him selling those coins. But prepare for the worst once the liquidation is announced. |
