This Auction is mainly driven to those who wanted to invest in EdgeCoin but werent able to get in. I have been supporting this coin since its beginning and the sudden investment increase in the past days was amazing to see. The Auction consists of 21 million edgecoins. At the end of IPO Stage 2, the value at which coins were bought was almost 2 satoshi.
About EdgecoinEdgecoin is a PoW/PoS hybrid coin which is going to be running the x11 algorithm. A beta will open tomorrow showing off most features of the wallet which should appeal to many users and increase confidence in the coin. You can find the thread here:

Payment and EscrowAn escrow service will be used. I have already used one in the past for a transaction about a month ago. Whoever wins will send the btc to the escrower, the launch day of edgecoin, the coins will be immediately sent once received by me to the wallet provided by the winner. Remember that the beta is tomorrow and the actual release is expected to be on the 20th.
