Hello All,

I would be willing to start a bounty, for someone to put together a BlackCoin Android Wallet. It must be nice and clean. Just like how Ripples, Aurora, LTC, DigiByte ETC.. I will be adding 10 BC to the pot to start the application. I am very surprised no one has made one yet. For a coin with huge potentials it needs Android support as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope to hear from someone soon enough! Thank you Smiley

Yes it would Smiley

I am hoping someone will come up soon to take on the task of making it happen! I am still very surprised no one has made one yet.
I love my Android Wallets, it makes it easier to do things with the coins.

Have you contacted someone to hold the donations in escrow for us yet? If you do and they post here with the proper address, I'll contribute.

This thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0) contains a list of people who provide escrow services to BCC members, although you'll probably need to convert your BC to BTC first. Some charge a small fee (usually 1%); others don't. If you get in touch with one of them, you'll probably generate more interest. Alternatively, you could set an assurance contract with a threshold of X BC and gather pledges from people to donate, e.g. kickstarter.

Also, make sure to post this in the official Blackcoin thread if you haven't already. If there isn't a pre-existing bounty or one of the devs isn't already working on one, you should be able to find out there.

Apple will be Apple.. I don't like them and never have. They like to control what the users do. You have to pay for everything that Apple products need. Especially Apps.. The sync of music only thru iTunes=LAME. Lol, I love my Android running KaliLinux Smiley

If you are looking for a fork of the bitcoin wallet by Andreas Schildbach, that won't be happening anytime soon. There is a $15,000 bounty for a Peercoin fork, but nothing working has been released.

Proof of stake cannot be implemented as a light or SPV application.

Ripple & NXT coins have one. Why can't BlackCoin? Anything is possible in the coding world.. Just have to find the right person Smiley

Yes, there are always possibilities, but a light standalone wallet would need to be less secure given the limitations and requirements imposed by proof of stake.  POS coins, to securely function, need much more data from the blockchain than a POW coin.  Conceivably, one could easily fill up all the phone's memory and quickly use up the data plan managing the blockchain.  Contrast that to a POW coin, which uses less than 1 MB for the blockchain data and a minimal amount of bandwidth since only block headers are downloaded.

An android wallet that uses an online server is the way to go here.  Security is a chief concern, once again.

You know a coin is finished when devs have no money to release a new wallet.
