The story in short.

1- I made a PHS deposit:

It's been realeased  2014-04-20 23:26:15. This is called an hold-up, because they pretented to work on it but in true they just manipulated the PHS market. You could think this is nothing but price was 27K s by PHS, It was 17K when it's been released. It was 14K when I fully refund BTC and started to sell PHS that I could buy back cheaper. THAT IS THE FIRST HOLD UP. THEY FAIL THEY DON'T PAY.

2- 2014-04-16   I was given 209 BC. I even not noticed. I just understood cryptsy was failing so I withdrawed my BC to mintpal. I had 418 but after many trades on many coins I didn't know I only had 209.

I've been stolen by cryptorush & c-cex yet, so I wanted to run away just in time.

3- I canceled pending orders of DMD. Not refund, not back into my balance. Finally refund after several minutes. I had 141 DMD. But my balance went to 1500. I wanted to withdraw BUT my BC balance was negative. (See pic. 1 page 1)

SO, to be able to withdraw DMD I bought BC, THEIR SYSTEM FAIL I PAY:

4- They released my PHS deposit so I had 2800 PHS on cryptsy.

5- I sent 300 DMD to start to cover: THEIR SYSTEM FAIL I PAY.

I kind of had a similar problem.  For the life of me, I don't understand why/how Cryptsy allows someone's balance to go into the negative.  There is obviously a Cryptsy glitch which caused this on my account and then made me "re-buy" the coins that went into the negative.  I have coins coming and going, that's why I would trust that Cryptsy would make sure I can't go into the negative.  Possibly this is what happened to OP. 

It's like if a bank account showed you had $20 more than you thought in your account, you wouldn't think the bank messed up would you?  You'd think you miscalculated or made a deposit that you just don't remember.

Haha, because of fractal reserve, because if they would release to the public their exchange effective balances, you would see THEY have negative balances and that we only trade digits numbers.

Yup sell and withdraw, only thing to do. But soon I'll probably fully stop to trade on this thieves place, if a coin is on sale on cryptsy only it's almost a scamcoin, nothing else.

because to me, it seems that you saw a bug, and rather than reporting it and not taking more than you own, you took out more than you owned.

the withdrawal software noticed (you even make this point by refilling the extra DC you took, so you could get the bigger prize)
then the balances of withdrawn diamond and btc go past what you actually own so you cannot take any more out.
you realise you cant take coins out but you can still trade, so you buy an extra 1.7k PHS?
diamond coin surges in price - you do not _want_ to repay the higher price so you go full-on-apeshit.

So the issue is more PHS didnt go up in price and diamond did. putting you in a position where you do not _want_ to pay the extra to level the diamond balance for the diamond coins that you did not own but still withdrew?

I know they shouldnt have bugs and you have been burnt before, but I think if you were a little more mature in your thinking and a little less with the caps and the colours and the fonts and the hysteria you would  have probably done better. I dont know though, cryptsy needs to balance their books, those extra coins did actually belong to another person and not cryptsy - they were (rubbish) facilitators. so if you dont pay it back that person will either go without or someone else will have to pay.  (ala ponzi)

If you had not taken more than you owned you would not have had the negative balances...

Oh and they have not stolen you, they have stolen /from/ you. stealing you would be kidnapping.

That inspires confidence.... I've never heard of Ebay giving members extra cash or Paypal giving extra cash while undergoing maintenance.

Eh, I had thousands of dollars pop up in my PayPal account one day. Reported it and they locked my account for 12 months to investigate. Came back and said they show no deposits coming in for that amount from *anywhere*, nor transfers, so they will just have to confiscate the money since they couldn't find any origin for it. They then withdrew my original balance to my bank (after holding it hostage for a year) and permanently locked my account and barred my main bank account from ever being associated with another PP account in the future.

So yes, PayPal screws up too. The sad part is I could have kept those thousands of dollars and they wouldn't have noticed since they have nothing in their record about it. But being an honest person, I did the right thing. And got screwed by PayPal as a result.
