Hello bitcointalk users,

I am offering poker coaching for sit & go's aimed at players who are total beginners up to medium stakes sit & go players.

My results for sit & go's at Pokerstars are shown below, the graph only includes $15 and $30 sit & go's because I only have a decent sample of those games.

My ROI might be a little lower than other players but I'm usually playing 24 tables or more simultaneously and I aim for the highest $/hour instead of highest ROI.

If you´re interested I can prove that the graph belongs to me without a doubt.

I offer the following topics regarding the coaching:
  • Bankroll management
  • Basic strategy
  • Hand selection
  • Calculating odds
  • HUD setup and HUD stats interpretation of opponents
  • Note making and marking certain types of players in to groups
  • ICM (Independant Chip Model)
  • Multi-tabling efficiency tips
  • Software (HUD, results tracking, ICM calculators, Multi-tabling software)
  • Hand history reviews
  • Watching you play and improve your game while you're playing via TeamViewer/Mikogo or other software
  • Other topics that I might have forgotten to include here

Communication will happen via Skype.

Pricing will be $65 per hour in BTC (at Bitstamp price), you can also pay in dollars via Pokerstars. You will have to pay up front.

Temporarily I will give a $5 discount per hour if you pay in BTC up until 1 month from now (Until 18 may 2014), I might extend this period, don't know yet.

If you're interested please post here, post your poker experience, what games you currently play and your goals regarding the coaching, I will likely contact you via PM.

Regards,

I play on Pokerstars and playing sit & go's for a couple years, I play them seriously for about 2 years, I learned almost everything the hard way by myself by just playing and playing, it's hard to say a number of hours/days because you improve as you play and also by talking with other players etc.

BR,

Gondel

If you are new to poker you will probably lose money, when I started I lost about $1500-2000 at first but I liked the game and started learning.

Also you need to play a lot of games (1000+, preferably multiple thousands) to see if you are doing good or not. As you can see in the graph short-term is very dependant on luck, the best players can lose over a sample of 1000 games, but in the long run they will always win if they are better than the average player they play against.

Good players can earn $20-$200 per hour in these games, depending on how high you can play, how many tables you can play at once and how good you are.

If you are new it's good to begin low at like $1.50 games and work your way up as you get better and more experienced. You will not earn $20+ per hour if you are playing lower than $7-$15 games. So don't think you can earn millions after a couple coaching sessions Smiley It isn't easy and you should be willing to invest a lot of time and effort in it. If you like the game that should be fine.
