Well origin is having their On the House Event and right now Battlefield 3 is for free. But a site that I will recommend to check out cool game deals is https://teksyndicate.com/gamedeals.

I must say i really hate origin and i'd prefer paying 10€ for a game on steam than having it on Origin  Grin

To be frank, I can't understand how people hate Origin over Steam when they're both pretty much the same type of software, Valve fanboism is dumb to watch, both companies are equally as bad for this kind of thing and yes, offline mode is shit, so I consider them both the same, don't defend shitty business practices from any company.

Steam has more games and a larger community of teenage fanboys Cool

Tbh the software is terrible, but at least Valve doesn't try to sell you overpriced CS:GO premium early beta access DLC or crappy f2p purchases.

I've had nothing but problems with Origin. It might have been just Battlefield 3 / 4 issues, but it really seemed to be an origin issue.

Steam, I've had issues with it in the past, but they were resolved fairly quickly.
