Ok! So I have finally made safe all my families bitcoins by getting them off QT and into paper wallet generated offline ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Just wondering what the best way to get them back out is, I would like to know how to do this in case I should ever need to in a hurry. The QT can't import private keys can it? Bitcoind can, but that's a bit beyond me it seems. Blockchain.info the best option for someone like me?

Go to the debug console, do "importprivkey privatekey".

Go to the debug console, do "importprivkey privatekey". This will open a scanning window, or the privkey must be scanned other way and put with ctrl+v? Importing adds new address or replaces the existant ones in wallet.dat?

If you mean scanning a QR code, no, you have to type in the private key.

Yes, I've meant scanning a QR code. Thank you for the info! Maybe you know a good but NOT android QR scanner/decoder, something that could work with the camera built into laptop?
