This is Bitcoin Forum. This thread is about 7th7 Game where you can win some money just for playing word game. Bitcoin is unique digital currency created in 2009(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin). You can easily spend it or change for other currencies (0.7 BTC worth about 5 USD for 13 january 2012).

Hi again, my 7th7 games for newbies (1, 2, 3) almost became a good tradition last summer...  Unfortunately, I abandoned this amazing initiative for a while, but now this game is getting its second wind. This is twitter-based game now and it should be more dynamic and entertaining.
So, I'll post the first word to start soon (it depends on number of participants) and new era in bitcoin history will come Wink.

Bitrain (7th Seven game)

A simple game with healthy competition
nmat

Participation is free for everyone! Just participate and gain money. Recommended for newbies to get some coins to play with.

Rules

Operator (@7th7game) start the game by posting a word in English with #bitrain hash-tag on Twitter (saying word we always mean something findable in Oxford English Dictionary and some widely used brand names such as Bitcoin, Twitter, etc ). Some ounds  may have additional requirements for words (check up new round announces). The next player have to respond with another word starting with the last letter of the previous (*correct) word posted with #bitrain hash-tag* and so on (like seven-noble-eagle-economics-sound-doom-mark(7th! + 1 point)-killer-room(2nd round)...). Your aim is to be on the 7th position in the chain 7 times (or 3 times for express-games) to win the game but you can't respond to your own words (only to somebody else's), except for the 6th word in the chain - if you are 6th, you may wait 2 minutes  (120 sec. at least) and respond it to be 7th (but somebody else may do it before!). You have to wait for the host to start a new round, once it gets to 7 a round ends. If the error occurred, you have to find the last word which is correct and respond to it (yeah, there are no guarantees that the last word in the chain is correct).. Just ignore all the combo-breakers.
You have to have your own bitcoin adress (what is it?) or eWallet to receive your prize.
*Just search for #bitrain tweets (not only top, but all of them) and add your words to the chain respectively.

Example (full of mistakes):

Quote
12:03 @7th7game #bitrain 1. bitcoin
12:04 @username #bitrain noodle
12:07 @username #bitrain error     -    mistake!   (you can’t respond to your own words if it is not a 6th to 7th combination)
12:07 @7th7game #bitrain 3. escort
12:07 @plAYER1 #bitrain timber
12:08 @player2 #bitrain 4) towel    -    mistake! @plAYER1 was faster.
12:08 @player3 #bitrain 5. line       -    mistaken branch
12:08 @player4 #bitrain ecology     -    mistaken branch
12:08 @username #bitrain 4.risk   (hey! check out escort-timber combination! )  -    Actually, its number 5...
12:08 @player2 #bitrain 5) yacht    -    mistake!
12:09 @super_combo_breaker #bitrain 3! vomit    -    mistake!
12:09 @username #bitrain kill
12:11 @username #bitrain loom  -     winner of round! (6th to 7th combibation. Player has wait 120 seconds)
12:11 @player3 #bitrain  ego     -   mistake (you should wait for update notification from the host (@7th7game) )
12:12 @7th7game #bitrain Winner of round: @player3 +1 point (1 out of 7 to win the game). Scoreboard: http:///////docs.google.com/document/////
12:12 @7th7game #bitrain *updated* go-go-go
12:12 @player3 #bitrain  1) ego
12:17 @plAYER1 #bitrain 2. opinion
…...

It's easy, quick and fun. Join us!

If you do not use Twitter - it’s time to try it.

Here you can find light in-forum version of this game, you are welcome to participate (you also have to wait for *updated* notifications every round). Prize amount is 0.07 BTC (if you want 10 times more - use Twitter)

So, standard prize is 0.07 BTC or 0.7 BTC (you may expect bigger amounts later). Probably, we'll think up some special prizes occasionally (like special prize for the first person who joined the game or for some other reasons, occasionally)

You shouldn't fraction off bitcoins like that. It makes them eventually cost more than they are worth.

I have an honest and potentially dumb question. Is this game going on on Twitter? If so, why do people need to post here?
