Mining with this connection

Hey everyone, just wanted some advice from experienced and existing miners as to whether my internet connection is suitable for a miner.

I am from the UK and I use something which is called a mobile broadband router so it's not a fixed ISP connection, it's connected to a network called EE. It's 4G and it's pretty fast. I'm looking into purchasing some mining hardware and rigging it up but I'm unsure if it will work on my connection.

Does anybody else mine with a 4G mobile broadband connection?

Any help is more than appreciated.

I'm currently mining with a 3G connection (In Australia)
Using a TP-Link Router converted to have the USB port act as the WAN connection

I have a script to check as well if it goes down and to auto reconnect so I don't have to watch it all the time

Been working fine for months now

I have mined on 32 KBps to 1MBps connection. As far as connection is stable without any frequent disconnects , mining will be fine.

Mining with difficulty half your MH/s i.e. 512 difficulty with 1th hardware will typically produce only ~1,5kbit/s in traffic.
This means even when the speed of your mobile internet is decreased to 64kbit/s you will still be very fine.

wireless hotspot -> a laptop -> bridge to ethernet -> network switch (to get lots of ethernet ports -> miners.

Or just buy a router with USB port like TP-Link MR3220 for 25$.

Just plug in a surfstick, configuration is easy via the router webinterface.

Then you have 4 ethernet ports and if you need more, you can add a switch.
