We need to get our Cryptsy bot running perfectly smoothly before we can release the other 9 bots which are pretty much done too.
Some tips:Set this to high number of trades: Disable on losses after X trades insurance
or during testing do not use this insurance.
Cancel open order is good at 2 minutes.
A good trading strategy using min price indicator:Suppose we set the buy level as 5 and sell level as 15, then a buy trade will be initiated at 5 and sell trade will be initiated at 15. If we set min price gain as 2, then if we bought at 5, it will be sold at 7. If we bought at 4, it will be sold at 6.
Similarly if sold at 15 then it will be bought back at 13 and if sold at 16, then it will be bought back at 14.
We set the buy limit = 5, therefore if price goes below 5 it will buy back again. Between 5 and 15, no fresh trade will be initiated, only square off will be there.
The buy signal will be generated below 5 and the sell signal will be generated above 15. If the trade is initiated at either side of the boundary, it will be squared off at the min price gain of 2.
You can set it this way: buy at 5, sell at 15. Max trading range: lower limit = 1, upper limit = 20 and min price gain = 2. Remember that one buy and one sell means one trade. If the trade is initiated by a buy, then it is closed by a sell. If price remains between 15 and 20, there will be sell signals. If price remains between 1- 5 then there will be buy signals. Above 20 and below 1 there will be no signals.
This example includes static price indicator, min price gain indicator and static max limit safety. You can also include static stop loss safety and price change insurance. Remember if you set the min price gain indicator to 2 and price change insurance to 3, then indicator signal will be blocked by insurance because this insurance will need minimum price change = 3 to allow trade.
So in this case, this indicator will start raising signals when the price gain is above 2, but it will be blocked by the insurance. However, when price gain reaches above 3 then this indicator signal will not be blocked by insurance and trade will occur at 3 points profit.
