Ok I seem to be littering this forum with requests for help, but I guess it's how other people learn down the line by googling questions long since answered.

The email verification sign in feature on blockchain.info wallet.

Wtf?

Just got locked out, seems to be absolutely useless. Only managed to get it to work once, and now I have to wait 260 minutes or something until I can try again. Pretty sure that it's not gonna work then.

Generally an excellent site, but this feature seems to be useless. And I'm not sure how it's supposed to work.

Any info on it would be appreciated.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Thanks. Sorted. They need to improve the email 2 step feature.
