How are we supposed to build trust on the bitcoin forum, because it said we should not ask for loans simply to build our trust.

You can start with offering a collateral.

Huh?  I think you misread my question.  I'm not looking for a loan because the policy says do not ask for a loan simply to build trust.

In my opinion, you can ask for a loan if you need one. You shouldn't ask for just building trust.

But isn't that kind of bullshit? That's saying only people in need can build trust.

Why would you want to have trust if you don't need it?

It's simple: you need a loan, you ask for it.
You want to build trust? Try trading coins.

Because maybe I would need a loan someday, who knows.  Plus it makes my profile more cool.

"Because is is cool" is an invalid argument for me.

If you would need a loan someday, people are willing to offer you one if you have a collateral.

Participate in the community and especially contribute to the community. That is how you build your reputation. There is no magic formula or quick path to a reputation and there can't ever be, because any such method will be exploited by scammers.

I do contribute and post quite a bit. I just started seeing if anyone wants to sell coins in the currency exchange area. :-)

Ya so just ask for it without explicitly stating in the post that you need the trust and ratings and the loan will be immediately returned once feedbacks are left. That kinda fucks up the "value" of trust. Basically if its free without interest, it could be a never ending trust collector, and one fine ay every dick is a 5 star trustworthy member with a gold tooth grin! That's where interest comes in.... you ask for a loan, and pay it back with interest. Trust is a really expensive commodity once you place that little caveat in the system.

If you simply complete trades according to the agreed terms without hassle people will begin to trust you more. You shouldn't have an obsession with trust - it'll come naturally as you become more experienced having completed more trades/purchases with others.

I've never taken a loan, but I have good trust.

In my case, I got it by calling out scammers in the lending forum.  Smiley

Just interact with people and enjoy the community.  Eventually people will trust you.

Not loans, you can buy/sell bitcoin or sell anything bitcoin-related or buy anything bitcoin-related. Or trade cryptos at market section.
