Got this email from Mtgox:


 You are currently making use of a system which will be deprecated on Thu 01 Mar 2012 12:00:00 AM GMT:

Access of the MtGox API while being authenticated with a login and a password


So does this mean I cant use my tradebot anymore after march?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It means you need to use the new authentication mechanism with a key and secret instead of your login/password.
