I've been mining bitcoins since June and now in merged mining with namecoins.I've read and searched for hours and cannot understand how to set up namecoins.I have alot of namecoins, but can't figure out how to set up the wallet or namecoin address.
Is there an easy (for dummies) guide available?I can't figure out dot.bit domains or what.I download the version 0.3.24.64 windows,
open that to a blank notepad that won't do anything.I'm not real good with create files or cmd,it took me forever to write the line in
MSI Afterburner to get past the stock 100 overclock limit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you could just use a bitparking account or some other namecoin exchange instead of a wallet.

sorry I cant be much more help, I set up namecoin before and it appeared complex but it is actually easy, just a lot of commands to get to know and sorry i had set it up too long ago to remember how I did it well enough to give you simple instructions.

I would recommend GoldenBoars namecoin GUI interface. You just point it at your namecoind path, let it load the blockchain info, and viola~

EDIT: Here is a link in the forums for the pertinent information

Strange on the search fail. I have been using the namecoin GUI for about 2 months now, and still no issues.

Thanks for the linkage!

Will definitively have a look at (and compile) the source in the near future, looks pretty decent.
