Every day a new coin comes a long most of them won't survive longer then a month. A lot of people try to mine new coins from the start or temporarily point their miners to another coin. I was wondering how many coins do you hold of dead coins that looked promising but are essentially useless now?

Dead coin criteria: Coin has no exchanges or 0 buy orders, very little or no active users, more then a week old.

I got a million Peace coins, 2 million CCoins, 400 Boschi coins and some other coins that might end up useless soon.

good thread Tongue thankfully i never bought into any real crapcoins though i did trade a more decent coin (DGC) for them just to spread the DGC around. kinda fun to collect them on exchanges.

I have some CTM, is that officially "dead" ?

Carbon and flappy are not dead, both have new devs looking to re-launch (and actually moving things along ie it looks like this will happen in both cases.)

What is the story with panda how can you tell the different ones apart? I believe there are 3 of them, I have some pandacoins from what I think was the original / legit one, but it's hard to tell which exchange/s trade which version of the coin. I used to trade them on cryptorush and then... well you know lol!

Surely all this sadness can inspire someone to suck each and every one of these coins into the abyss and burn them to fuel the birth of a new coin. It can stalk the landscape in memory of all these broken dreams.

A bunch of crap (now worthless) over the months and years... but I've traded in and out whatever I mined, and so probably net net positive. Still hold small residual positions though

EAC, WDC, QRK, DGC, MRC, FLAP, MEOW, DVC, TIPS, PANDA, PND BEE, KARMA

I have got only Pandacoin

congratulation, this coin is being a bit ressurected now...

Im owning pandacoin, some remains of benjamins (was a funny trolling), digibyte (yes its not dead but... still in satoshi value), earthcoin... And 100.000 rest of leafs  Grin Oh, and some cashcoins, yeah and colossus... so many millions of nothing  Cheesy Not going to sell, its just fun to own millions and still having a poo.

From the living coins i have a NEM stake, 40 vertcoins and approx. 2000 UTCs. But im out of BTC and LTCs, sold them all for coins or cash out in history.

As everyone, i did make a good deals and bad deals in history. The worst deals ever were some doges for 10satoshi, BC "gain" from 900 to 1700 satoshi, selling VTCs for 0.0001 to buy a NEM stake or keeping some coins until they lost all their value (greetings EAC dev team). But there were some better deals...

In Pump and Dump we trust.

Buy Marinecoin MTC you will never have this issue, started 4 months ago, we operate on our own core mining network, switching to ASICs, funded to keep on going for years, without asking anything in return.
