For those who are unaware, the Vert team is also attempting to create a coin with identical innovations like merged mining. So, as you can imagine, as Parallax is announced before 'Monocle', there are a few people left unhappy and who would like to see Parallax fail.

Personally I don't think 0.8% is a large number at all? Coins in the past have both succeeded and failed due to premine, usually its 2-50%. I don't believe miners/taders would be taking much risk at all in participating.

As we all know, only time will tell. Besides, scammers don't come up with scientifically innovative things. letsbereal.
