I take an oath to NOT mine any new clone-crap-altcoin which offers nothing new to cryptocoin community other than a new logo and name.
I am not against new coins that have improved features, new algorithms or innovative concepts. I just don't like seeing clone-coins meant for pumping-and-dumping all the way. They don't serve any purpose other than wasting resources and make the dev rich.
I was until now attracted to instamining and dumping crap coins in order to get few BTC in exchange, but I see this going down to the dogs. 2-3 crap coins every week will lead us where?
So here I am, taking an oath not to mine even a single crapcoin from now on. If there's a new coin, it has to convince me what new innovative feature it has in order for me to mine it. PERIOD. And I appeal all miners to do the same, otherwise this madness won't stop and will clog our crypto community and market.

I take a vow not to mine or buy coins that are innovations just for the sake of innovation which is even more pointless then clone coins. I find most of the claimed innovations are no improvement over bitcoin/litecoin, kinda why there is so many clone coins, if you wanted to make a coin for a purpose the tried and tested works the best with slight twigs, why try and reinvent the wheel, unless you're solving an issue. Clone coins created without any real purpose except for developers and miners to trade for btc and make fiat out of are the problem.

I make an oath to release another clone coin, hope you break yours to mine it It will be my attempt to support BTC and the future of crypto as a decentralized currency, my aim is to bring new users to the community as a whole. Now can you tell me why I would want to use the newest innovation and not go with a proven product that stands the test of time?

Only about half of BTC have been mined. So it is open to anyone in the name of 'community as a whole'. Just because some people are late does not mean it is not open to everyone.

I'm glad there are people that think the same; I'm sure there are plenty but they just haven't shouted yet. Maybe the only way to make this right would to NOT MINE these coins. BoyCoin? GirlCoin? I'm pulling my hair now!

The market will work it out, eventually people wont care about new coins, in fact they will avoid them as they will likely drop in value.

Yes BTC is open to anyone, when choosing to mine a clone you are taking a risk that is larger than the risk with BTC, I am unsure of of the exact reason's someone could find to mine a clone, there is something about the psychological affect of the price of BTC that might drive you to to get cheaper coins, or, more easily obtainable anyway, I decided to switch to Alts because I could get more of them with less effort than BTC, I had high hopes of LTC taking off like BTC.
