You should persevere at 80khash/s. You'll still find blocks with 50 coins.

The 9,000,000DON coins for the American & British Red Cross and the 4,500,000DON for the other supported charities will be exchanged as soon as we can get on an exchange.

Once an exchange is in place, monthly exchanges for FIAT will take place for all supported charities.

I think they mean that the coin will be traded slowly and in small percentages when it hits the exchange not millions being dumped at once lol

We are not going to be "dumping" Donationcoins on the market.

The 9,000,000DON for the American & British Red Cross are held and released in 100K trade volumes.

The further 4,500,000DON will be spread across the 17 other supported charities and again released in 100K trade amounts.

The exchanges will also retain control of the transaction and oversee everything.

Charities will confirm delivery of FIAT.

CharityMiningPools - Donate to Charity while you Mine!

don.charityminingpools.com - NOW LIVE!

Come mine while making a difference.

All donations raised during the month of April will go to The Water Project

STRATUM, VARDIFF, Datacenter Redundant Server Farm, Load Balanced Servers, Frequent Backups
0.75% Mandatory Donation fee to The Water Project, 0.75% Pool Fees

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.75% Donation fee.  This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month.  Though we only require a minimum 0.75% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

Cheers!

Target timespan: 96 hours

Is it the diff retarget ? If yes, you should really change it for something shorter, KGW at the start is a bad idea but a 96h retarged isn't better, I think. It could kill the coin  Undecided

Anyway, I love the concept and I wish you more success with the coin ! If the price goes high you'll be able to make some awesome acts and this will promote digital currencies by a good way  Smiley (sorry for the english btw)

Difficulty retargets every 2016 blocks and block target time is 4 minutes. In reality it will be more like 10 minutes once things get moving. 96 is a 4 day retarget. Litecoins is 3.5 days. Litecoin seems OK.

It's not a problem for Litecoin because it has a stable hashrate, it's increasing but it doesn't change too much, I'm just afraid to see 1 Gh/sec with a diff of 0.04 or don't know, it's an example  Cheesy A lot of coins, without KGW had a retarget of around 1 to 6 hours, it's better to prevent high hashrate variations you can get when the hashrate is low, like when you launch a coin
