Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Dont think that matters much, given the demand history of ASIC's ... manufacturers can  charge whatever the fuck they want and people still buy them.... fucking amazing.

UPDATE
The chip will handle to us on 29 Apr, and the first batch of this miner will ship out on 4-5 May 2014
considering the chip is very expensive now, we decide to build up a miner with two blades, and the price is 4000$, will perform a hash rate of 14-16M.
here is an picture of our prototype.

the power usage of this miner will be 300w, so if you have psu for antminer you can use it directly.

only 30 unit will be build in this batch, if you want to get more powerful miner with 4 or 6 blade, you can contact us and we can also build it for you

a detail introduction was also brought by the manufacture of the chip , innosllicon
http://www.innosilicon.com/A2.htm
