If you don't understand why your mates are negative on crypto, it's because they don't own any crypto themselves. It's easy to fix this. Just give them some free ozziecoins. It's non-technical, friendly and widely distributed: https://www.facebook.com/ozziecoin (please leave us a like)

Article on ozziecoin: http:/[Suspicious link removed]/b9L8DXPogD

ozziecoin had a mention on 6pr fairfax radio today, i think they were going to give away coins to new people.
But they did promote the free 500 coins for signing up.

For a station that never really liked bitcoin, it was good to see their tech guru segment pushing a good crypto

Yeah, Ben on 6PR is really good with tech and he understands the premise of ozziecoin and we're trying to get the blockchain out to everyday Australians.

Trademarket soon , or Huh

This is a very important question.  Obviously no coin will be successful without a value, and it has already been awhile since launch.

We will get onto a reputable exchange, when we are ready. Turning ozziecoin into a speculative vehicle is pointless as there is no value to ozziecoins until a decent sized community exists around it.

Please don't think these coins will suddenly make you rich. It is an experimental platform to help ordinary Australians get comfortable with the idea of digital coins. I encourage all those genuinely interested in getting the Blockchain to the Australian community to get behind us.

This coin does not want to be a pump, which we all know ends in a dump.

Approximately, three months. We are in no hurry. There are plenty of other altcoins you can speculate on. Ozziecoin will have an exchange when the community needs one.

We have not requested to be listed on any exchange because we are simply not ready for prime time. If you buy ozziecoins, you will essentially be speculating because at this stage ozziecoin is simply an experimental platform to help Australians understand the blockchain.

If you are not interested in giving away ozziecoins to ordinary Australians, please do not mine this coin. There are many other altcoins for people to mine and speculate on. Have a great week.  Smiley

"We are an experimental platform to help Australians understand crypto. Please don't mess it up for us. Thanks."
The verification fee is waived between now and when ozziecoin is on a reputable exchange. So, it's free for Australians right now.  Also, we may waive the verification fee altogether if we generate sufficient revenues in other ways. So, don't buy ozziecoins on any exchange - it's available free for Australians.

This is the self moderated ozziecoin thread, please take your complaints elsewhere Kenta. We've seen trolls on auroracoin and darkcoin's bitcointalk forum really make life uncomfortable for everyone. I will delete as I see fit.

As you are not helping us get the blockchain to Australians, please start your own country coin for Cyprus. Thanks.

Also, as you think we are a scam, please don't try to sell ozziecoins to people will ya?  You might as well give it away because ozziecoin's are worth exactly zero right now.

Do you have any idea when an exchange might be available for this coin?

I understand what you're trying to do by keeping it off exchanges.. but we're running a pool for it, which uses server resources, and therefore costs us money and we really need to try make something back from our fees. At least at some point in the near future anyway. Let us know what your plans are.

Thanks
