Is this coin working? Github source give some errors while downloading the blockchain, giving "wrong proof of work" at block 115154 .

What's happening? Why is the block explorer keeping running new blocks and github source won't work?

Please help, OZC are also blocked on betasharex exchange.

Dev let us know something!

Yes, we believe working.  Let us look into it.  We're trying to replicate the issue that you experienced.  The block height on linux and win systems is the same. Have you tried clearing the chainstate?

Hi, please download Github source again. We have just merged the pow-check branch to main branch.

Maybe you guys were running the main branch while explorer was running pow-check branch. Pow-check is the correct one and it was now pulled to main branch.

Hi KingBB! We have found a problem yesterday that was fixed and we have talked to Betasharex guys. They need to recompile their wallet. I believe this will be back soon.

This problem is also causing problems on MAC wallets. They get stuck on block 115154. We will release a new version for MAC soon.

We used to have at least 2 pools "http://koinpool.com/ozziecoin-mining-pool/" and "https://www.minep.it/pool/ozc/". We are trying to contact them to check what's going on.

Anyway we intend to setup our own pool soon.

Thnx Ozzie,
for the reply. I think that you should setup your pool. And if your coin survive it would be great coin. You survive 6-7 months without exchange, I think that tells something . Keep a good work,
Cheers Wink

Thanks mate! We will setup our own pool and improve our own exchange to a proper exchange.

We are working on the new version of MAC wallet as well to fix the issue.

BetaShareX is back up:

"Support: OZC market is open"

That's good news!!!!!  Grin

Our priority now is to setup a mining pool and recompile/release a new version of mac wallet. We are working on it!!

If anyone wants to join the team and help us we would appreciate. Just send us an email on admin@ozziecoin.com.

We are also working in a dynamic web page to show all statistics of the coin such as number of people registered and receiving the coin every 2 weeks, market cap, number of ozziecoins claimed, number of ozziecoins mined, etc...

Let us know any idea you guys might have to improve the coin.

This is just a message we have sent some time ago alerting linux wallet users that they should download the new version of the software. Some people complained they were stuck on block 115154 so this update fixed it. Windows wallets were not affected so you don't need to worry about this message. And as you can see you were on block 123137 at the moment of the screenshot.

We are aware that MAC users are also affected by this problem. But we haven't released a new version of a compiled MAC wallet yet. We are working on it.

Was there any progress made with minep.it (that would allow OZC withdrawals), or should I just write that off as a loss?
