invest 700000 on bitfinex get 7000$ intrest per week.
And what is the risk for putting 700k into a BVI registered company? Well it sure is lower than the added ROI. Atleast in my opinion and in the rest of the 30,000,000 USD that are deposited there in swaps. There is a big risk when trading with IBC company and 700000 its a big amount.. i dont think that there is anybody who use so much money for trading BTC between exchanges there are a better trading and investing oportunities for 700000...
First of all, what I proposed was NOT trading but using the swap system. Second, sure there is a substantial amount of risk, so is everywhere else, but still the ROI compensates for that risk more than it should be in my opinion.

Just curious what recourse users have in the event that they turn "gox".

The outstanding swap on bitfinex is around 30M right now. Can't believe there are that many people that put so much trust with the exchange. There is likely a lot more on deposits on other bigger exchanges like btce

I don't think he realizes there are trading fees and withdrawal fees and deposit fees.
trading fees of even .2% would more then wipe out his profits.

trading fees of even .2% would more then wipe out his profits. The spread in the old day used to be wider. As more people trying to find way to profit from easy money, the profit diminished.

Just by reading what he wrote you can see that he has no idea what he's talking about. If there were no fees, and if transaction times were 10x as fast, with no additional deposit/withdraw fees, then you could exploit this.

I think the OP is just looking for attention TBH, as I don't think that many people would want to brag about making this kind of money as it would subject them to a number of attacks.

If all he can capture is a $1 price different the trading fees would actually cause him to have a loss

Ummm... How is the price going UP if it goes from 597 to 595? Last time I checked, that's a DROP in price. Unless you're using some kind of math that I've never heard of before...

If all he can capture is a $1 price different the trading fees would actually cause him to have a loss I think he gave us an example on how it works. If you want to get profit, you will have to trade after the USD/BTC price increase by at-least $50+ . I don't think it is good idea to trade now as the price isn't reaching $600 . The price is going down and then going up in between $580 and $592 . Kindly, MZ

from trading minor fluctuations between different exchanges eg mtgox - coinbase - btc-e.
ive done it and now im rich if you follow what i did with my system i will show u for free wotch
buy when 400 on coinbase and sell when 401 on bitstomp do that with lots of money and u make 7 grand a week
great idea! But I believe, person who is reach can pay for his education to write words without making mistakes. And a bit of advice for the future: money love silence. This is actually a bad idea. If you had to pay .15% trading fee then you would lose $0.05 per bitcoin that you trade when capturing a dollar spread. This assuming trading fee is much less then what most exchanges will charge you.
