One of the first bitcoin centers in Europe is slated to make its grand opening come the 13th of May in Paris, France. Dubbed “La Maison Du Bitcoin” (or “The House of Bitcoin”), the center is in the heart of the nation’s capital, on 35 Rue du Caire, blocks away from world-famous landmarks.

The 220-square meter property will be open Monday through Friday from 9AM – 7PM. It will offer working space to bitcoin-related startups (10€ per day, 50€  per week, 200€ per month), weekly pitches and workshops.

The Maison will be home to local bitcoin meetups, a bitcoin miner, and a bitcoin ATM, too.

The idea is to kickstart the crypto-currency movement in France, and it’s the brainchild of Prixing and Flink founders Thomas France and Eric Larcheveque — two men whose interest in bitcoin has been growing over the past year, according to Bitcoin Examiner.

Don't know... may be a 4 square meter cabin, enough to place two laptops and two chairs?
