Who the fuck is this moron? OH, his Facebook rank is number 29! Impressive! Zynga didn't exist 18 months ago? Wikipedia says it was founded in 2007. Facebook profile credit ratings!? LOL I don't think this guy even knows the types of activities that make an entity a "bank". My favorite quote from the article: prides himself as being the fist person to coin the term “Web 3.0” during a press conference with Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
Rutkowski asked Schmidt what Google was doing with “Web 3.0” and Schmidt replied Web 2.0 was just a marketing term and that he was “the inventor” of Web 3.0.

People who play games on Facebook are very credit-worthy.
This is a great idea and not at all likely to end badly.

Got me thinking, has anyone started working on an app that integrates Bitcoin with Facebook? That may help get more people to use it.

Someone created a minesweeper game for it. I imagine no one has sold bitcoins for facebook credits yet.

Must first understand the fact that Facebook is already the largest information database bank in the world. And who controls the information controls the world!

From the Facebook Credits Terms and Conditions: "You may not accept Credits as payment for a currency or other stored value item that can be used outside of the application." Bitcoins are considered a stored value item.

Farmville credits have no intirinsic value so you cant use them for money.... there's plenty of phishing sites that specifically target farmville accounts to steal credits. idiots actually do pay real money for them to increase their 'farm' as for facebook being a bank, it'll be the first bank that openly sells your information. yay

If you had a choice between losing a bank account or your facebook account, which would you choose?
For some(many?), a facebook account is more valuable than a bank account.

Well, that very much depends on the amount of money you have on this account, doesn't it? I mean, in my bank account I must have something like three euros, so I coudn't care much less about losing this account.

True, I use a mortgage offset account for my normal banking so would very much more like to lose that more than my Bitcoin wallet which is at least in the black
