Pretty good talk, but the speaker seems kind of nervous.

He talks about the use of Bitcoin as a payment system for sending money to family in third world countries to avoid high fees.
And he gives a very general summary of Bitcoin itself.

Still great that there are still recent Ted talk about Bitcoin, this video was posted on 17/04/2014.

My opinion:
Every alt coin is a sort QE (Quantitative Easing) or money creation out of thin air.
The 21 Million bitcoins should be enough for everyone with smallest part, the Satoshi, so really enough for everyone and highly deflationary.
Every other coin is a disrespect to Bitcoin. In other words, every alt coin developer is some kind of Central Bank who creates value out of thin air.
With side chains, Bitcoin could be kept up to date with the newest technologies.

Again my opinion

Hahaha, that's funny... if alt coin is money created out of thin air then so is bitcoin.
Same blood flows through the veins of many alt coins...

Yes!!!  Bitcoin and other cryptos are inflationary in tgat they expand money supply.  Tru dat.

Altcoins no disrespect though.  Why tge entitlement?

I love me some doge.  More fun to give away than btc.  Btc is too heavy.  Doge is funny.

Oh that face!!!!!

Gathering bitcorns.
