Darkcoin is the 1st truly anonyous cryptocurrency with anonymous block transactions powered by darksend. It has a fully funtional public beta for DarkSend.
It has a maxiumum of 22million coins and has CPU/GPU mining, also being the first coin to use the x11 algorythm which is superior to Litecoin's scrypt and Bitcoin's sha256.
It also has a superior, extremely secure hasing algorithm with 11 rounds of scientifi hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, and echo)
Also, the first coin to have difficulty retargets using Dark Gravity Wave or DGW
Beta stage for DarkSend is expected to end before June this year(so 2-3 months from now) and marketing for Darkcoin will also begin at that time.
Currently Darkcoin hasn't had an established marketer/marketing team to advertise the coin yet because DarkSend is still in Beta stage. Even with that however, the price for 1 Darkcoin has reached $1 recently, even though it was released just in January.
