Hi,

I'm Simon from Simon's Online Gambling Blog. I have been a member of the affiliate program at Bitoomba (not Coinbet.cc , thank god! Those scammers: I hope they get their just desserts and Katz will get his money back!). But it seems like it turned out to be a GIGANTIC SCAM at the very least for us affiliates (maybe players too?, feedback would be appreciated).

The affiliate program banners were here : http://simonsblogpark.com/onlinegambling/best-bitcoin-casinos/

I've got some decent traffic on that webpage. The webpage was ranking first page for keywords "best bitcoin casinos" and some long-tail keywords.
I was ready to check on my affiliate revenue when BAAM! couldn't log in. it seems like Bitoomba discontinued their affiliate program.  They don't respond trough their contact us form, and their affiliate manager: jessica@bitoomba.com does not respond at all. I've been trying to reach them for two weeks.

Are they still in operation at all? Or is it just a ghost site?  Feedback would be appreciated.

You can try to contact them for yourself and see for yourself.

Take care!

Gamble responsibly,
SimonTheSorcerer

Here is the email we sent to Simon as there was a clear misunderstanding of what website he should be logging into because nobody has a login at betcoin.ag:

Hello Simon,

Your post was brought to our attention and of course we will respond immediately.  What website are you trying to login to?  Our affiliate program is going strong at www.BetcoinPartners.com and we have never had a contact form at www.Betcoin.ag, nor any user login.

What is your username and we can certainly look into this for you?  When did you send us an email and what email was it sent from as we have no emails or communications from you?  We will get you taken care of promptly as we do with all of our valued players and affiliates.

Thank you.

Yes Betcoin.ag is fine. We cleared it up. I hope they fix or remove the contact form tough. It is very misleading especially now that two bitcoin casinos ceased operation. We are all very-very afraid and careful.

Bitoomba still hasn't responded tough and I doubt they ever will, just look here: I'm not the only one with this issue: coinbet.com/p/affiliates

Bitoomba scam accusations has been there since October I think:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=245057.msg3420091#msg3420091

edit:

IMO part of the problem are the reviewing blogs/sites. They generally don't really investigate in the sites and sometimes they don't even try the sites as long as they have their affiliate links. I know your blog is a bit more personal and you just share your own experiences so I am not specifically talking about your blog.

Still I would personally include things like "age of site", "proof of cold wallets?" and search a lot every day for new scam accusations for the specific sites. Like I said, Bitoomba scam accusations has been there at least since October and that is just through 1 Google search query.

Oh! I wish I had seen that before.

EDIT: I think my topic still has relevance. These reviews don't make it clear, that they are taking money from affiliates. Actually there is nothing about affiliates in it or that they do not respond at all if you try to contact them, which is a huge red flag.

I've Custer the site a few times but something always stops me from playing there. It's like I can smell scammers.
