The network will still provide transaction fees and it will become a trading coin for exchanges. No PoS means no increasing supply like the other coins

+1 that is true you guys did a fair start, i first thought oh no not another color coin (fruit coin 0_o), i never even realized there was a limecoin already but coinfreaks are looking for new coins to add and this was a good chance to jump in first post position , It would be fantastic if another pool got on board we dont wanna fork the coin instantly 0_o..... tales from the scrypt might be interested maybe send him a PM, if not im sure another pool admin will find the coin. I have to admit i like that idea of "ZEST" ... zestcoin, but hey limecoin is here now to stay 2hrs to go guys !!! Spread the Hash rates around the pools please. And if i get this correctly it means we will mine all the coins out in the first week or less.... So this really is a coin to jump on now, it basicly is a "PREMINED" coin but its the community that is premining it.... interesting concept.

As a heads up, Coin 2 was existing on transaction mining after its 100% giveaway.  It wasn't enough and someone had attacked their chain weeks later.  They scrambled and ended up going with POS to protect the blockchain but it was a very intense process involving all the users, some exchanges, and very hardworking devs.  Just an FYI wouldnt want the work that goes into this end up double spent when someone notices the scrypt diff is .8 for a week...
