Hello!

We are excited to announce a new service that we feel is needed in the Bitcoin space, that we hope will help many people in their Bitcoin adventures going forward.

The new service is called BitcoinX and the website is: http://bitcoinx.io

BitcoinX is a peer-to-peer review site for Bitcoin exchanges and wallets. There are literally hundreds of Bitcoin exchanges and wallets, so it’s hard for people to keep track of all of them, and know which ones are reputable or not. This is what BitcoinX is for. We keep track of all of the Bitcoin exchanges and wallets so you don’t have to, and allow the Bitcoin Community to rate them and review them – for your peers to see – all in one place that is easy to use and find.

We are launching this morning and are still doing some testing. We'd love for you to review the site, and tell us what you think. Any feedback would be appreciated, either here on this thread, or via our Contact Us form.

We have already listed over 50+ Bitcoin exchanges from all over the world, as well as some wallets. We have lots of work to do in adding more exchanges, and getting our wallets database bigger. But this is a start and we plan to grow our database every day.

We are going to be seeding the beta testing period with bitcoin tips to those that leave helpful comments on any exchange/wallet profiles on BitcoinX. Comments are not required, but add a lot of context when selecting a Bitcoin service on the web. Plus it's fun to get money for helping your peers!

As we all know, there are opinions and comments spreadout all over the place about exchanges and wallets, but it's hard to find a consolidated place that has them all, rates them, and gives users much needed insight into the service. We're hoping to help here and make Bitcoin better for everyone.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thanks,

BitcoinX
