We have decided to restructure Xcoin to help our investor's coins get more value. Restructuring Xcoin
Today, May 22th, we, the xcoin dev team, have taken an important decision regarding the future of xcoin that we would like to announce, but not before state the facts that conducted us to take this decision.

The IPCO
Xcoin’s IPCO started exactly one month ago on April 22th. The rules were basically pretty easy, investors would receive a percentage of xcoins and depending on the amount they invested, they got the opportunity to get their own altcoin created by our coin creation service.

Many investors decided to invest the sufficient amount to get their own altcoin from our service, so that helped minimize the risk considerably for they were paying for our service and not only getting xcoins.
Three stages took place and exactly 33,000,000 xcoins were fairly distributed among all our investors.

The problem
The problem we faced in this IPCO was that we did not capitalize much attention from external people since the coin was 100% proof of stake without mining phase and only distributed among investors. For this reason, the main thread was almost deserted and when xcoin reached its first exchange (europex) the price was extremely low for the kind of characteristics xcoin has.

Action plan
Even though many of our investors got their own altcoin from our coin creation service and practically removed any risk from their investment, we decided to come up with a plan to help their xcoins be worth more.
The decision we made, was to restart xcoin but this time with a mining phase and a free distribution that will help us generate attention from miners and other community members, thus increasing xcoin’s popularity and value.
This restructuration will be done respecting the past IPCO results and giving the xcoins again to our investors that had already received them. We will not distort in any way the past results, our investors will receive the same amount of coins they had already received.

The Coin

If you were an investor you knew the coin [XCOIN] was not the important thing. The important part was the Coin Creation Service. We were creating Altcoins for you so XCOIN was just redundant and with no real use.

The objective was to promote our Coin Creation Service, and for investors to receive a coin created from us with any specifications they wanted. The price had a discount from what we usually charge.

Basically, all risk was gone, because you received a product (service) from us, so you did not have to depend on XCOIN's price.

We created coins for many investors. The only ones that were not elible for the coin creation service were people investing 0.1 BTC or less.


The problem

Our third partner lost a wallet cointaining the coins for the 5th and 6th stage, so we could not continue the IPO. We had to remake the coin, and do the distribution again.

Also, we had an important merchant deal but the person backed off, so we couldn announce our 'surprise'.

Unfortunately, there was not a lot of interest from people for us to remake the coin so that discouraged us from remaking it.


The Solution

To make everyone happy again and end this, we have decided to compensate our investors with the following:
