Well now since the Scrypt ASICs are starting to replace GPU mining rigs what do you guys think will happen to us gpu miners?

I think that Vertcoin will go up in value soon and will be the new litecoin for us GPU miners and then we'll have the usual clones of Vertcoin coming up everyday.

Maybe its time to buy up vertcoin or maybe its time to sell off your GPU rigs and get out while you can?
What do you guys think. Post your opinions for all of us to read.

I've sold all my GPU's and got out in January, just before the Scrypt ASIC's started to flood the market. Got better than 80% of my buy-in price for my radeon cards, mostly 7950's, not to mention the fact that I had mined a nice profit from my video cards.. It may be a bit late to get out of the market without losing too much, but you should seriously consider your exit strategy. GPU mining is coming to an end, if not there already.

Feathercoin is going to change the algo from scrypt to an asic resistant one in the near future. Maybe take a look at it.

That would be good for the coin, since it doesn't have anything really going for it currently.

It is def a good move for feathercoin to change algo.

I don't think GPU mining will die. Think of all those miners with 100s of GPUs they need to find another place to use them.
