Our games are provably fair. We have API for game datas available, too. The fairness is provided the following way:
We've generated a list of random SHA-256 checksums. We've SHA-256'd them again and published a list of them (available
here). So each secret used by us has a corresponding key in the file we've published. When a bet is received, we look at the transaction hash and determine ten "coin flips" by looking at the final byte of SHA-256(your transaction hash + our secret at index (Ledger ID of your transaction + Flip #)). So there will be 10 coin flips each game, all being random and fair.
We use node.js as backend. We use ripple-lib to communicate with s1.ripple.com, the public rippled server. We monitor for incoming transactions at our game address - and we won't miss any even if our game server is down, because we will also look at the history since we were last up. This doesn't mean we're intending to have downtime, but in case downtime happens, it will not cause trouble - all bets will be handled. We also monitor for outgoing winnings payments. If - for some reason or another - the winning payment fails to confirm, we will try to send it again in next 15 minutes as long until it's done.
We've also run several stress tests on our game server to see its capabilities. For example, several hundred games at the same time. Our game server handled it perfect.
