Hello. Old timer here. Decided to open my wallet after many years. Updated to V3. Now each time I open the app I get this:

I can see all my DMDs but this error message is annoying. What can I do?

a v2 wallet.dat should not be used with a v3 wallet

export the private keys that hold coins and import them into a new v3 wallet

This  seems to have made the trick. However I still get the "Synchonizing sporks". It's been stuck there for a long time although the blockchain is up to date.

I didn't find anything referring to this in the FAQs.

with v3 chainstate and blocks folder hold the chaindata
seems u had a mixup of v2 and v3 files good u did clean that up

It wasn't a mix up. I simply installed V3 using the V2 folder. Anyway it's all resolved now. Thank you.

i prefer p2pb2b as is have the better performance and we are tradet at 3 pairs
i also think that this exchange is a rising platform that will catch up to the big ones
i remember back my early days no binance existing and later binance was the small exchange
over the years small can become big

both exchanges support v4 upgrade

regarding big exchanges binance bittrex poloniex hitbtc we wait after v4 and its mostly a community effort if demand and volume make DMD attractive to them

regarding smaller exchanges like u like the thai bitkub
its also community effort to get in touch with them and request DMD to be tradeable ther
but also i suggest u wait until v4 i released as its a total new technology list v3 and then v4 is double effort

no permission required only key ownership of a v3 address with a balance at snapshot

u need to own DMDv3 coins at snapshot u need to cryptpgrafic sign a message with desired target address on v4 chain via the old v3 wallet
and u need to execute a claiming dapp that interact with smartcontracts on new v4 chain then u get snapshot balance of v3 on v4 send to ur desired target address

all this is done with a dapp that is open source u can run on ur own computer no need to interact with anthing other then the blockchain and open source code executed on ur own device

i see that as permissionless
