@cryptonit or @popshot - I am seeing dramatically reduced cloud mining payouts.  Why is that?  I thought my initial investment would produce minimally what it was producing previously.  My payouts went up for a while because of the x5 to get to ROI which I am now at but when they dropped back down they are less than 1 DMD per day?  I have over 1000 cloud mining shares.  Please explain the math.  Thanks.

if ur amount of shares is less than all time payout $ value

then u did reach ROI

wana be in boost mode u need to reinvest into DMD Cloudmining

earnings have to be generate somehow if people never reinvest but joined cloud early
are at 200% ROI while new investors feed old investors and not reach ROI in a reasonable time

If you come to think about this, DMD cloud mining is a really great service. After checking my account, I m also very close to hit ROI. This means I have reached ROI in about 11 months total and will be entering long term earning mode. My initial investment s been returned to me and now I can enjoy benefits of DMD staking I received from this cloudmining venture while still getting small payouts every day from DMD cloudmining. Also I know my shares now help other people reach ROI and make profits too. The other option s to reinvest a bit more and keep receiving increased payouts until I reach ROI on this increased investment as well. This would increase my long term earning amount too. DMD POS if u have small amounts of coins open wallet in minting mode for 2 days around every 14 days
if not all coin pile stake at such a session dont worry they will in one of the next
POS rewards keep gathering "coin age" each day so it doesnt matter if u stake now or later

minimum age to stake is 9 days
(minimum age mean just able to try compete for finding ablock not a guranbtee to find one soon
the chance and the reward is raising each day (chance up to 30 days gains) (rewards gains each day without timelimit)

The best thing is to have in your wallet at least 1000 DMD.

there is no such behavior as u describe i know a lot of people who only have a few hundred DMD
and they act exactly as i guide all other people open wallet twice a month for 2 days in minting mode

but maybe i just misinterpret what u write
if u mean after some time ur wallet will be filled with coins pile in area 1-120 DMD size
with a average size around 10-30 yes then u are right
that is what the automaic split/merge mechanics are achieve after a few cyles (few months)

in fact DMD POS is one of the most balanced
no micromanagement needed
fair and predictable POS reward systems in existence

all u need is patience
and at least a few coin pile size 5 dmd or bigger
they will act as seed for groupstake and help all small
and even very small dust size coin pile to be able to mint too

That message confused me too but I wanted to say I got my first stakes of DMD. I have a very small wallet (<300) but try to increase it's size as money allows. It was so pleasant to view my wallet on Christmas Day to see a stake of 0.1xxx & 0.5xxx, plus the following day i received a stake of 1.05xxx DMD.

Even a small wallet can get a nice return. Thanks DMD!

as u can see even if BTC did raise faster in $ value
even DMD managed to constant raise its $ marketcap

and now that BTC raise stuck for now

DMD starts to catch up and th DMD/BTC price raise

thats normal behavior that ina similar pattern repeat each time BTC raise in $ value


first some people try to be able take part of the BTC raise
later people move value back into altcoins because its visible BTC raise for this phase is over or slowed down

the question is if its not better enjoy the last weeks 50% POS that take part in such games

im very sure DMD is one of the coin where we get the positive effect after a BTC value raise
but not suffer lot when BTC raise

we raise too just a bit delayed

so this now is our time to raise and catch up

Normal investors will never dump their Diamonds.
Most people are interested in a gradual increase in price.
Of course, there are speculators who like to arrange a pump and dump, but eventually they just will not stay on the hands-free Diamonds.
I'm sure that most of the Diamonds will have a worthy hosts.
Why they have to sell a 10k coins when they can sell for a few coins a day and earn more income through POS.

Now you see the golden days when many people can get 50% income, even with a small amount of coins.
When the reward is reduced in the hands of the users will be much less the Diamonds than it is now

Fear not

If a whale wanted to close his position that way he would be making a costly mistake. In markets with lower daily liquidity you sell slowly over a period of time not to disturb it too much. But if you take a look at this historic graph



you can see the market absorbed in total over 70 000 DMD within a short period of time without massively destroying Diamond's price. Diamond's market can recover extra quickly thanks to many factors and it's been an observable phenomenon.  

Investors who go long term would sell their PoS rewards and reach their ROI and beyond with staking and price appreciation due to platform development. Which is more of a 'being a bank' mindset. I also doubt day traders would play with such big amounts.

Those who sell in such a rush into empty buy order book must be either very desperate or foolish.
