To verify your details, you need to upload ALL of the following

    Government issued photo ID (passport, ID card or driver's licence)
    Photo of yourself, holding up the same photo ID and a piece of paper with the word BitBargain on it (for face comparison)
    Recent utility bill, bank statement or other official letter with your address on it


Please do not upload just one or two of these documents. Your ID will only be verified if you complete all the steps.

No photocopies of documents
The photo proof needs to show both the uploaded ID and the 'BitBargain' sign
No out of frame elements: your arms/hands (holding the ID/sign) should be inside the frame
No grainy, blurry, low resolution images - anything below 1400x1400 pixels is rejected
The photo ID needs to be issued by a UK or EU government
The photo ID needs to show the date of issue and the date of expiry
No partials (ID needs to be fully visible including edges, hand/arm holding the ID needs to be inside the frame)

We will see this kind of requests more often from exchanges, they can't do anything about it. Governments are forcing exchanges to do this.

I recently opened a couple of online bank accounts and the process is similar... They do NOT ask for the photo of you holding your ID though 

That being said, you only have to jump through the hoops once and you are good to go.

Only if you're a Samsung human being with an specific version. Else you need to root to get a screenshot.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. One thing is asking for documents, but this is going out of hand.
