There is no linux-compatible versions for Battlefield 4 or Titanfall. A lot of other softwares are not compatible with Linux. If you are using your PC just to browse, then Linux is OK. But other than that, Windows is a must.
First you can play many games on Linux thanks to Wine and related program/script.
Secondly, Windows monopoly for video games won't last long but you must know it.

Norton always been the worse antivirus. It is considered a virus in itself because it makes the machine cripple.

Linux is great but it doesn't protect against virus/trojan/malware that you catch from an Internet browser.
Most Bitcoin trojan/keyloggers are cached from the browser.
The best security for browsing Internet is to use Firefox with
NoScript and learn how to use it. Edward Snowden use it.
