but.. what's there to be skeptical of, exactly?

Other than an announcement for something (or rather: 'some thing') and a big fat countdown timer, there's literally no information - even the vague information amounts to no information.  Maybe if they were throwing the words pre-order or IPO around or making rather more factual claims (like "10Thash/s for $100").
Still, their countdown timer beats that Avalon countdown timer, so far

I am on the list.  50 days from today is june ?

5 days in april 31 in may = 36 plus 14 in june = 50 days.  

June 14th is Flag day.
June 14th is my brother's first but not last wedding date.
June 14th is my maternal grandmother day of death.

So I like the flag.  

I liked my brothers first wife.  

My Grandmother died a good gentle dignified death at the age of 87.  Based on the above 3 facts  for June 14th I put my name on your email list.

I also like that you are only in PA and I am in NJ. So I will look back here every once in a while.
