Hi guys!  I just getting into mining as a hobby. I just got 3 antminer U2 to compliment my rig of old computers. (GPU mining)

I have overclocked the ant miners to 2.2 gh/s for a total hash rate around 9-10 GH/s.

I was wondering what the best method for mining would be with this hashrate.

Pool (slush's), p2pool.in, or solomining

I like the idea of p2pool (getting instant payments and no reliance on pool operator), but it says expected share time is 7 days to get one above network difficulty.

Just trying to get the biggest bang for my buck and I appreciate all suggestions!

Thanks!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Best bang for your buck? Mine on BTCGuild.
Want to support the network? Mine on p2pool.

By the way, fire up your GPU rigs and mine altcoins.

Go here http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/

Plug in your specs and see which SHA-256 and Scrypt coins your miners should be most profitable at the moment.  Check once a day or so to see which coin you should be mining.

The Alts are easier to mine, so if you're hobby mining, I'd go for those coins, then trade them back to BTC on Cryptsy.

+1
Use your antminer to mine the most profitable sha256 coins, and use your GPUs to mine the most profitable scrypt coins. Smiley

You need to have a pretty high hashrate to use p2pool, otherwise it will take a really long time to find a share and the mining revenue will be very unstable.
