Its currently disabled, noone can change /set an avatar. Those who have one, just allready had one, when the feature was turned off.

You can't. The avatar feature has been disabled since last year. Those who don't have an avatar can't add one, and those who have an avatar can't remove or change it (though theymos can do it for you). Edit: shorena is seconds faster than me lol.  |

If you have an avatar already, you could ask theymos nicely to remove it for you when he is free. I don't think theymos will help you add an avatar though, because if he do it for you, everybody will ask for it and it will be a mess.  |

You can try asking theymos, There wouldn't be a mass asking till someone would announce in public that theymos changed It to him, do It quietly.  |

sadly that good feature is disabled from around half a year..! I just hope the new software is worked out quickly and the feature is enabled again..!

The avatars arent back ever since the 1st time bitcointalk have been hacked.
Its been at least like a 1 year since that happened like someone mentioned.
But, yeah its sucks what can you do? nothing..
