Basically the libs in the modem have file operations making it possible to read, write, copy remotly and untraceable. Not only that, the operations are Unix based so an AOSP ROM will stop nothing! Basically, all your phones are accessible by 'whoever' whenever they like, just like Intel's v pro bullshit allows!

Cheers for pointing out

Randomlove, is that you?

Until josh cries to theymos  yes, theymos is just a money grabbing cockroach like josh and bfl so that's why they keep banning me, I hound josh on a daily basis nearly letting him know that people know ;-)

Best one is they banned a whole VPN last time and loads of people on here were being asked to pay to get access! If this doesn't tell you theymos is a money grabbing cockroach nothing will ;-)

I don't hide, I got nothing to hide, that's why I'm so dangerous to the cockroaches around here :-)

Great share. The site claims
Quote
Samsung Galaxy devices running proprietary Android versions come with a back-door that provides remote access to the data stored on the device.

How can I use this backdoor?  Is it simply connecting to the device on the network and running a program?

This was known for a while now. Now add to this what the Knox (the supposed Samsung security suite for smartphones ) do and you'll understand how Samsung is a billshit company and all they want is your money all of it

All technology is made that way. Every piece of electronic device is constructed so you can be easily invigilated. No surprise there. Big brother is watching. Soon there will be no place on earth free from prying eyes of government and corporations.

this comes as a surprise to no one who has been keeping abreast with world events. i see all these signs that there are people working hard to create a new world order where the few elite control the entire population.. in a police-like state.

Many of these modern phones art rigged as you say.  Stick with older models and you will not have as much to worry about if you so concerned I say.  I do appreciate you letting us know the news.  I for one value what little privacy I seem to have these days.

So are you stating there is a security flaw?

Its not a flaw, Its a purpose built Library that allows UNIX commands at the lowest level REMOTELY! Think the above 2-3 comments combined with 1984 and your getting close!

'Smart' is the buzz word for Agenda 21, Thats all you need to know!

Haha you don't give up do you?

Makes me wonder, I always wondered about, if UEFI's on new motherboards and SSD's have back doors. It seems possible.

dont know anyone in tech that wanted UEFI and it still sucks balls to this day.

Well, with UEFI, you create gpt partition tables, then you can have unlimited partitions unlike mbr you are limited to 4 partitions or 3 + extended. Extended is you can have paritions inside the extended.

UEFI also opens the doors for for larger hdd/ssd space for systems.

plus a ton of other stuff.

This has been in most smartphones for a long time mostly used for performance reporting by phone/os makers. Im intrested in the protocol used to bypass  network provider.
