I just started www.pieceofbit.com as an informative website to help beginners learn a little more about bitcoins. I am going to try to run the purely on referrals so that I won't have to overload the site with ads. I have the obvious sites listed where they can earn free bitcoin and some information. My question, how does the site look, and is there any other information/sites you think I should add for newbies.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Took your advice, that bottom was too busy. We also reformatted some pages as well as added a background.

Will review and add thanks. Anybody else want their site reviewed? I'm getting about 300 visitors a day and we're brand new. Tell us if you like our page.

Your answer to "what is a piece of bit?" should be under your question and not on the right side.

at a glance, everything else looks great

good luck

I think the site would look a lot sleeker with a non repeating background, maybe a single colour or something more simple  Smiley

The background with bitcoin logos doesn't look really good for me you should change that to something else.

Where it says this on the front page change the spelling of to. It should be Too.

We have made over 1 BTC a month with the sites we use and you can to just by following the instructions listed on each page.

In the Bit Talk section bottom right it says this.

Our blog for bitcoin new and general discussion.

It may possibly be meant to read news.

Thanks got it changed. How is the color scheme? Do you think the titles or text should be colored or black?

Looks like you're off to a good start.  Could you please add http://www.cryptocoinstats.com/ to your list of sites?

Black is easy to read on a light coloured background and keeping all the titles the same colour they stand out so people don't have to look hard to find them.

Also for your games try this one CoinRPG which is in development here on the Forum.

If it's easy to change your main Logo at the top I'd suggest capitalising the P in Piece of Bit.
