This thread is closed.

This thread exchanges BCN (Bytecoin), MRO (Monero), and BTC (Bitcoin) Required fee is 0.1% for buyer and seller.

To post an offer
Post a buy or sell order and receiving address here or PM me. I will PM you an address to send the required funds to. After you send me the required funds, this post will be updated. People can take fractions of your offer, and other offers at the same price will be stacked on your offer. At any time you can request a refund and I will refund you the entire amount you sent (minus already exchanged coins) without applying a fee.

To take an offer
Post the listed offer you wish to take and your receiving address here or PM me. I will PM you an address to send the required funds to. After you send me the required funds, I will send you the coins you bought. Taking fractions of an offer is allowed.

Manual offers will be in bold.
Automatic offers will be in italics

Example of an automatic offer:

Quote from: manual offers
WTB 10M BCN for 1 BTC
WTS 1000 MRO for 1 BTC

This will create an automatic offer that fills the two manual offers upon completion:

Quote from: automatic offers
WTS 1000 MRO for 10M BCN

Bytecoin and Monero have the same maximum number of atomic units, however the Monero base unit is 10,000 times more rare:

Max coins
BCN - 184.46 billion
MRO - 18.446 million

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Why are you trading MRO with a dead coin instead of BTC? Am I missing something?

MRO is a fork of Bytecoin BCN. Bytecoin BCN is not the same thing as Bytecoin the 1:1 Bitcoin clone. Bytecoin BCN nor MRO are forks of Bitcoin. Bytecoin BCN was supposedly launched in July 2012 and has gone largely unnoticed until March 2014. Very confusing.  Roll Eyes

Edit: I am now accepting BTC trades.

If I'm not confusing MRO is mere a BCN fork. Bytecoin is more thoughtful. If I bought cryptocurrency, then BCN only

Yes, Moreno is essentially Bytecoin with a fair, public launch and a lower benefit for early miners.

There is most certainly more demand for MRO. I have two trading threads and the MRO one sees far more demand.

BCN was 80% premined in secret. That is a huge turn off to a lot of people, for many reasons.

MRO was launched in public with no pre-mine, no-IPO, no block fee, and no other funny business that puts money directly into the developer's or into early adopter's pocket pocket. Anyone who wants to make money from this coin will have to mine it, buy it with their own money (or earn it), and then work to make it a success.

MRO also has a slower reward curve (closer to bitcoin), which may be further slowed down to be even closer to bitcoin.  Only about 0.1% of MRO has been mined so far.

It seems to me, that 50% of your posts are like "BCN was 80% premined in secret, BMR is PERFECT, OUTSTANDING!!!!1".
A little bit annoying, man. Calm down, please. Everyone, who needs info about this cryptocurrencies has lots of places to find it out.

Premine is completely irrelevant for adoption. Whichever one delivers the features and marketing is the one that will succeed. Assuming Cryptonote technology goes anywhere, that is.
